My Personal Experience with Nature Essentials Blemish Balm Cream & Face Perfect Serum

I have mentioned on my previous posts that I am very picky when it comes to choosing my facial regimen, and it is because my skin is quite sensitive and easily breaks out if I use the wrong product. I have come across Nature Essentials, which claims to beautify and nourish the skin by using only premium-grade, all natural ingredients, and no harmful chemicals on their products. I then got very interested on their products and wanted to give them a try.

The Face Perfect Serum
I have the ten milliliter-sized Face Perfect Serum and I use it after washing my face. I do several pumps on my hand and gently massage it on my face and neck using circular motion. This little wonder claims to lighten the skin with a noticeable glow. Each time that I use the product, I feel my face smoothen and tighten. I like using the Face Perfect Serum on my face because it does not have that oily or greasy feel during and after application. It is easily absorbed by my skin and leaves it feeling fresh and glowing. With continuous use, I look forward to a lighter and smoother complexion.

The Blemish Balm Cream

Another product which I got from Nature Essentials was the Blemish Balm Cream. It comes in a thirty milliliter bottle with pump. I was glad that its shade compliments my skin tone. My previous experiences with local make ups are a bit frustrating, I really have a hard time finding a product that could really blend into my skin. Local BB Creams and face powders usually give me that "cakey" look as if it was "foundation day"! hahaha! That's why I never bother purchasing one. Contrary to my experience with other local brands, Nature Essentials Blemish Balm Cream totally blew me away! It glides and absorbs easily and gives me a very natural feel. The coverage is light yet it is able to conceal those imperfections that I have. It does not make my skin oily and feels very light on my skin.  I feel like wearing nothing on my face at all, as if it were my very own skin. Even if I had it on for hours, my face still appears to be very smooth with its coverage.

I am no professional photographer and I assure you that, the effects of the Serum and BB Cream look much better in person, where it appears to be flawless and radiant.

All of the Nature Essentials products which I have on hand are nicely packaged, and what I like most about their packaging is that the ingredients and instructions for each product is printed on its boxes and labels. Most of all, a warning is written for the user to make a patch test before application. Not all products have that. Despite of their claim of having very safe and mild products, I admire them for putting the said statement on their boxes and labels, because even if ingredients are all natural, it still may cause allergies at times too. Kudos for thinking about your patrons welfare, Nature Essentials! I also like it that they use pumps as dispensers because I find it very convenient and not messy. It has a classy feel too.

I could say that my personal experience with Nature Essentials Face Perfect Serum and Blemish Balm Cream was very satisfactory. Not to mention that their Blemish Balm Cream is at par with a known Korean brand. I still have other Nature Essentials product experiences which I shall be sharing with all of you soon. Keep posted beauties, as I reveal in the coming days the wonders that their products could bring to your skin.

Gabby's 7th Birthday, A Frozen Party Worth Remembering

The 15th of June 2014 was a very special day not only because it was Father's Day, but most especially because it was my Godchild's 7th birthday. Gabrielle Peralta Pua, also known as Gabby to her family and friends, celebrated her 7th birthday with luxury and style. The theme was the personal choice of our little princess, and her wish of having a Frozen party was indeed granted. It was an intimate event where only  family and the closest of friends were invited. The party which was held at Garden Oases, was carefully planned and executed by Gabby's mom up to the tiniest detail.

As guests arrived at the venue, I was in charge of receiving them (I'd gladly do anything for my inaanak. ). I had the guests sign a greeting board and handed the kids their name tags and party hats. After registration and while waiting for the other guests to arrive, a photo booth was readily available for the guests to have their portraits captured. Ice cream and chocolate fondue was also served to keep the kids from getting bored. The main event started at exactly 5:00 PM and Gabby caught the crowd's attention as she entered the room dressed as Elsa, of the Disney movie Frozen. She really looked so stunning in her ice blue gown.

Gabby was not the only one dressed in blue, her equally beautiful mom and siblings were dressed with something blue too. Her dad who works abroad, was not able to come home and attend the special occasion. Instead, he gave his sweet message and words of wisdom via video feed. Her uncle who also works abroad gave his message as well.

There were lots of games not only for the kids to enjoy but for moms and dads too! A lot of prizes were given away, all of which were Frozen inspired. After the games, palatable food was served. A buffet table of sweets was also available to satisfy everyone's sweet tooth cravings. Edible art was beautifully crafted by a  classmate of mine in high school, Maya Verga of Sweet Heaven. During the middle part of the ptogram, Gabby gave her very own rendition of the song "Let It Go", she looked really sweet and beautiful while on stage. Towards the the later part, everyone was entertained by acrobatic stunts as performed by a family of professional acrobats. Not to mention that they made the guests' hearts literally skip a beat. The youngest performer was  a little girl aged three. Just before the party ended, Gabby handed out loot bags which were filled with goodies for her friends to enjoy. Souvenirs were also given away to make us remember this very birthday of hers.

Everyone who came to celebrate Gabby's 7th birthday, had so much fun on that very special night. We missed some friends who were not able to make it though. If this was one extravagant event, I look forward to Gabby's 16th and 18th Birthday then. Above all, I wish that Gabby grows up to be healthy, God fearing, and beautiful inside and out. I know she definitely will, having such great and loving family to guide her. To Gabby, live a happy life, dear little princess. Always remember that we love you so much!

My Belo Essentials Loot From Sample Room and My GIVEAWAY

I received this bag of goodies yesterday as a prize from the "Shine Bright Even Without The Spotlight" blog contest hosted by Sample Room, sponsored by Belo Essentials. I was overwhelmed to see the bag filled with a lot of Belo Essentials products. Some of the boxes have been damaged due to handling though, but it doesn't matter anyway since it would not affect the product itself.

The package came with a personalized note from the Sample Room Team which I find really sweet.

I have had my share of trying out the Belo AcnePro Line, and even won the contest through the review which I've done. Now, I want to give one (1) lucky follower the same chance to try the products as well. Just simply join via the Rafflecopter application below this post.

This is the set that I'll be giving away...

Good luck, beauties!

Review: Probio-White

Skin whitening has been such a craze in our country the past couple of years, not only with women but men as well. One of the most popular means of whitening the skin is through the intake of glutathione. I honestly have never (ever) tried taking food supplements to whiten my skin. Thus, making Probio-White very my first  attempt.
As written on its label, each capsule of Probio-White contains 5 billion CFU of live Lactobacillus casei strain (KE-99), 215mg of N-acetyl-cysteine, 100mg of glutathione reduced, 100mg of collagen peptide, 50mg of alpha lipoic acid, and 10mg of sodium ascorbate. It is recommended that two capsules be taken at night before bedtime. For optimal effects, continuous use should be observed.

Probi-White claims to: improve of digestion and metabolism, promote better absorption of nutrients, promotes excretion of toxins, visibly improve of skin’s texture, moisture, and elasticity, smoothen the skin, firm the skin, reduce fine lines, and aid in blocking free radicals.

Remember that when taking capsules or tablets from a bottle, it is best that you shake the bottle and drop the  desired amount of tablets or capsules on the inner side of its cap before putting it in our hand. This is to avoid bacterial contamination which might affect the efficacy of the product. Medicines and food supplements are considered sterile inside their containers.

I had one bottle containing thirty capsules to consume. The bottle was sealed when I received it and I took the capsules as instructed. Two weeks of Probio-White consumption and indeed there was a change in my skin color. That's about a shade lighter. Of course I did not expect a drastic change in my skin color. It might not be very noticeable, but it is understandable, because I only took the product for a short period of time, two weeks. The minimum number of days required to achieve visible results. Maybe if I took it for a longer period of time, results would be more visible in photos, no matter the lighting condition. Speaking of such, as much as I wanted to show before and after photographs of my skin, lighting conditions and other factors make it difficult to achieve an accurate photo.

One should also understand that when taking or using a product, results may vary with each person, for we are to consider factors such as metabolism, absorption of the product, and activities of the user to name a few. Sometimes it would take time to achieve the results that we want. Patience is a virtue, and as they say "tiis-ganda" (sacrifice for beauty). Hahaha! Well, at least I got a fairer as other people have noticed. When friends an acquaintances would see me, they would ask what I have been doing to achieve fairer skin. Then I would say, "Read my blog, then you'll know."

If you want to learn more about the product, visit the Probio-White website and/or their Facebook page.
Who knows? The product may work for you and give you the complexion you  have always dreamed of...

*Those with underlying conditions, please consult your physician before taking any other supplement.

Until my next post, beauties!

I Just Got Lucky As A Newbie

Who would have thought that a newbie blogger like me would win a blog contest. It was on May 31st that I saw a post saying that The Belo ProAcne Line is holding a blog competition for the reviews made on the its different products which were availed through Sample Room. Thinking about such opportunity, I hurriedly gathered my materials and did my personal experience review.

The Blog Competition was tagged "Shine Bright Even Without A Spotlight". I was racing with time. Why? The very day which I saw the post was the deadline itself. With only my handheld phone to take photos and my insights about the product to equip me, I kept my hopes high. I have seen reviews done by professional bloggers on the product and I said to myself, "There is no harm in trying!".

I am no professional photographer and editing the photos were much of a burden for me than checking my grammar! Well, I did the best that I could to present the product in photographs in such a way that it could justify what I was saying. My grammar is not perfect either but I tried my very best to convey my thoughts in a manner that my readers would easily have a grasp on what I am trying to say rather than swamp my post with highfalutin words to impress and get nowhere.

Days have passed and I forgot about the contest. I have been too busy taking my Grade One daughter to and from school. Call me a stage mom. Hahaha! As my daughter and I arrived home from school yesterday, I hurriedly checked on my e-mails to see if my sample orders have been shipped. I got a message from Sample Room and thought it was a reminder of my shipment order. To my surprise a "Congratulations!" was written on it! I got overwhelmed and hastily sent my reply. My details were needed for the shipment of my prize and I now am counting the days until it gets to my doorstep. I just can't wait!
Here is the link to Sample Room's winner post... Blog Contest Winners

Until my next post, guys! I'll let you know when I have my loot on hand. ;)

Too Bad I Can't Make It...

A few days ago, I received an invitation to the very first Aquabest Bloggers Night. The event is organized by Aquabest, the country’s premiere water franchise in cooperation with Evee and Skinlyn Health and Wellness Spa . As much as I wanted to attend the event on the evening of the 14th of this month, I had to decline. Not only am I miles away from Quezon City, but I have a prior commitment on the 15th which I have to honor.

The said event should have been my very first blogger's event and I was not expecting to be invited so soon since I am just a newbie. I felt so overwhelmed and excited. I know I will be missing a lot, yet I understand that everything happens for a reason. In time I know that I would be able to attend not only one, but several blogger's events. I'm keeping my hopes high! That should be the spirit, right?

The organizers were really kind enough to consider me and keep me on their list despite my decline. Should any event of theirs happen here down south, I'd be glad to attend and show my support. Thanks to these companies who give bloggers like me the opportunity to learn and share what we have in mind through the products that they offer. A partnership where companies, bloggers, and patrons cultivate awareness and learning with the aid of one another... <3

Review: Bangkok Face Lotus Sparkling Mask and Gem Fruit Pudding Cream

It's been a while since my last post. and as promised my journey to a beautiful skin with all of you continues. I have mentioned in my previous posts that it is seldom that I get to have pimples and other blemishes, but just recently I had allergies on my cheeks. I've never had one before on the face, and this one was so stubborn, it stayed on my face for five days and felt really itchy. Then I thought of putting my Bangkok Face creams to the test.

I received two pieces of five (5) gram sample size creams from Bangkok Face which was good for one week use. I had both Lotus Sparkling Mask and Gem Fruit Pudding Cream. How I wished I had the full size! You'll know later why. Both creams are made of Thai herbs and plant extracts, and claim to promote skin firming & lifting, whitening, pore tightening, revitalization, and anti-oxidation. However, the Lotus Sparkling mask has additional benefits of spot correction and anti-acne.

Full sized creams are 15 grams
( Php 750.00 each )

As I mentioned earlier, a week ago my face had breakouts which where quite unusual for me and were unbearably itchy and persistent. On the fifth day of having such condition, I decided to use the Bangkok Face creams which I had on hand. I alternately applied them on my face as instructed on the table below.

Application Instructions

I washed my face with my usual soap and pat it dry with a clean towel, and since it was on a Monday night that I started, I used the Lotus Sparkling Mask. Using my middle and ring fingers, I gently massaged a pea sized amount of cream on my face in a circular motion, until it was evenly distributed on my face. Just as simple as that. Surprisingly, a few minutes after application, the itch lessened, and when I woke up the morning after the blemishes started to dry up. So, I decided to continue with the daily application and the creams lasted me ten days instead of just one week. Yesterday was my 10th day, and I am so excited to show you the effects as shown in the photo.

What I like about the creams was that it glided easily on my skin and did not give me that oily  feel after application. It was so light and it did not make my face perspire, unlike other creams that I have tried. It also was very convenient for me since I really am not into rituals of putting a lot of stuff on my face. Obviously, both creams worked pretty well for me. Not to mention that when I get a scar from blemishes, it takes a month before it disappears. Those which you see on the photo above, took barely ten days to leave my face without a trace.  Both creams gave me a smoother complexion with the youthful glow that I wanted. My skin felt tighter and appeared to be fairer too. My mom and friends even noticed. Now you know why I wished I had the full size instead! Hahaha! Thank you Bangkok Face for bringing back the glow to my skin.

This is an honest review and I really could not find anything that I do not like about the products. To date, these products work best for me so far. Don't just take my word for it. If you find the product interesting, visit Bangkok Face's Website. These creams might do wonders for you as it did to me.

*Credits to Bangkok Face  for the full sized cream photos and the application instruction table.

*Remember that what works for me may not work for all and vice versa.
