Trying On Lipcote and Loving It!

 

Hi, beauties! How  is your weekend going? Wouldn't it be great to have fun on a weekend without having to reapply your lipstick often? Let me share with you something that could come in really handy. It's Lipcote!

Lipcote is known to be the "original lipstick sealer" for over 50 years now. Lipcote is the secret to long lasting, smudge free, fade and kiss proof lip color specially made for women who love lipstick . And how is this possible? Here's how it is applied.

1. Apply lipstick and blot with tissue, repeat.

2.Evenly brush quick drying Lipcote over and slightly beyond lipstick.

3. Keep lips apart while Lipcote sets.

It's as easy as 1, 2, and 3. Voila you've got that long lasting lip color that you've always wanted. Lipcote is transparent and quick drying. When applied to the lips, it brings a cold and a very light tingling sensation which eventually disappears in seconds. It comes in vanilla scent, yet there is an overpowering scent and feel which is similar to that of alcohol. Why? It is simply because alcohol is its dominant vegetarian ingredient. It is formulated to protect whatever lip color you feel like putting on. It is made to make your lipstick last for that smudge, feather, and fade proof pout.

Lipcote is packaged in a way that it is very practical and handy. It is contained in a small bottle and comes with a brush applicator similar to that of nail polish. A bottle of Lipcote last a hundred coats. Quite a long way for a small sized bottle. By the way, based on my personal experience Lipcote works best on matte finish lipsticks too.

Lipcote is indeed very convenient since you could use it with whichever lip color you choose, making it last longer that usual. It makes a lasting finish when going out on parties, on a night out, or even for day to day activities. Lipcote is one handy make up must have for every woman on the go!

Putting on Lipcote just keeps me from doing a retouch for hours, and I so love it!

The Queen's Essentials Obagi Set, My Personal Experience

This post is long overdue and my excitement of sharing my experience with y'all has been prolonged!

I received a package from The Queen's Essentials and wondered if I would have the same experience with other bloggers who have tried the product. I have read of good feedback with this brand and was hoping I would be able to have at least the same experience with other people who have tried it.

You might have read the The Queen's Essentials post regarding their new waterproofed stickers, well it was I who brought such concern to their attention because the products spilled due to shipper's handling. As I received the package, the labels' prints weren't visible at all. It was not for me to criticize, but to help them out in bringing customer satisfaction. Though labels do not affect the potency of a product, still it helps create a lasting impression.

The product package is composed of a Kojic Acid Soap, Medicated Astringent, Clarifying Solution, Peeling Cream, Bleaching Cream, and Sunblock Foundation. When I opened it, I thought that it would be a challenge for me. Why? It's because I am not really into the ritual of putting a lot of stuff on my face. I don't have the patience to do so! Hahaha! 

I carefully followed the instructions of application.

Evening:

1. Cleanse the face and neck with Clarifying Solution using facial cotton.

2. Wash the face with Kojic Acid Soap.

3. Apply Medicated Astringent with upward strokes using facial cotton.

4. Put a generous amount of Peeling cream without rinsing.

5. After 5 minutes, put a substantial amount of Bleaching Cream all over the face and neck leaving it overnight.

Daytime:

1.Tub face with ice to close the pores, to lift dead skin, and to eliminate the bleaching cream.

2.Wash the face with Kojic Acid Soap.

3.Spread on face an ample amount of Sunblock Foundation to moisturize the skin and protect from harmful UV rays.

The Kojic Acid Soap had a mild fruity fragrance, the Medicated Astringent and Clarifying Solution was fragrance-free, the Peeling cream had a rich texture and was also unscented in nature. However, the bleaching cream had a floral fragrance which I really liked. Its creamy texture made application really easy too. The Sunblock foundation had a scent that makes me hungry, I'm not quite sure of the scent though but I really loved the finish that it gave to my face each time I put it on. It had a sheer coverage that I really like since I do not usually wear make up on a day to day basis.

During my first use up until the last day, no stinging sensation and no visible peeling was experienced. Each passing day my skin became smoother, fairer, and was acquiring a more radiating glow. Now, not only people who know me ask, even strangers appreciate my complexion. Not a single day would pass by without me getting a compliment. Isn't that flattering? The photos below are reason enough.

I guess I have to say nothing more because the pictures speak for itself! My product experience with the The Queen's Essentials Obagi Set is very satisfactory, not to mention that it has surpassed my expectations. Indeed the the Obagi Set delivers its promise of beautiful skin. Undergoing the ritual of The Queen's Essentials regimen is indeed worth it! At 38 I am so proud to have made my complexion even look better with the Queen's Obagi Set. My experience with the Obagi Set now makes me curious about their other products especially those that are used for the rest of the body. I think they would be equally efficient. Hmm.Who knows? I might give it a try soon to know how it would work wonders on me. 

For all of you beauties who want to achieve a smoother and fairer complexion, its a matter of finding the right product that would suit your needs and your skin type. It's a matter of having patience in searching for a very efficient product.

Evee Lumina White, A Seven Day Challenge

I have been bothered by allergies for a couple of weeks now. All the while I thought I have gotten rid of them already, but then they came back. What's very annoying is that they choose to appear on my face and are very stubborn. They are so itchy and appear to be pimple like.

I received a Lumina White package from Evee, and thought it might put and end to my worries. The set was composed of a cleansing bar, a face tonic, a day cream, and a night cream. All nicely packaged in small containers, tightly sealed to avoid spillage. As soon as I had it on hand, I immediately opened the package and used the products. That's how desperate I was! 

This happened to my skin two weeks ago.

To achieve that Lumina White complexion, I started my regimen by washing my face with the cleansing bar. It has a very nice lather and does not give my skin a stinging sensation each time I wash my face with it. The cleansing bar aims to tighten and whiten the skin for that youthful glow. After drying my face with a clean towel, I apply the day cream. It is white in color, with a light creamy texture. The purpose of the day cream is to protect the skin from the harmful rays of the sun. It also may be used as a make up base for that added protection beneath your make up..

During night time, in lieu of the day cream, the face tonic and the night cream are to be used after cleansing the face. The face tonic comes in a spray bottle for easier application. The toner gives me a very light stinging sensation. Well, it may be due to the allergy that I have where parts of my skin had existing breakouts prior to use. It is very tolerable though and it disappears in no time. The face tonic works to cleanse the skin of its impurities, to bring out naturally fine and glowing skin. The last thing that I apply after cleansing is the night cream, which has a very rich creamy texture, and a very light yellow tint to it. It is formulated to get rid of tired cells while whitening the skin as one sleeps. All of the products are unscented except for the cleansing bar, which has a mild scent that most Kojic acid soaps have.

Less allergies, lightened scars, glowing face!

After 2 days of use my skin allergies dried up and lessened. There may be new ones which appear from time to time, but I am glad that they are not as much as they were before I started using the Evee Lumina White kit. On my seventh day, my skin even felt smoother, firmer, and my pores appeared to be less visible too. My friends have noticed the changes in my skin. Above photo shows my bare skin with mascara, lip balm, and eyebrow made up. Nothing more than that. 

Most women would want to have flawless skin, but more than that, a youthful glow would make it even better. Indeed, Lumina White was able to ease my worries of having allergy breakouts and scars. I am definite that in time, I surely will reclaim the flawless skin that I once used to have. All it takes is patience in following a safe and reliable routine to achieve beautiful skin.

My Personal Experience with Nature Essentials Blemish Balm Cream & Face Perfect Serum

I have mentioned on my previous posts that I am very picky when it comes to choosing my facial regimen, and it is because my skin is quite sensitive and easily breaks out if I use the wrong product. I have come across Nature Essentials, which claims to beautify and nourish the skin by using only premium-grade, all natural ingredients, and no harmful chemicals on their products. I then got very interested on their products and wanted to give them a try.

The Face Perfect Serum

I have the ten milliliter-sized Face Perfect Serum and I use it after washing my face. I do several pumps on my hand and gently massage it on my face and neck using circular motion. This little wonder claims to lighten the skin with a noticeable glow. Each time that I use the product, I feel my face smoothen and tighten. I like using the Face Perfect Serum on my face because it does not have that oily or greasy feel during and after application. It is easily absorbed by my skin and leaves it feeling fresh and glowing. With continuous use, I look forward to a lighter and smoother complexion.

The Blemish Balm Cream

Another product which I got from Nature Essentials was the Blemish Balm Cream. It comes in a thirty milliliter bottle with pump. I was glad that its shade compliments my skin tone. My previous experiences with local make ups are a bit frustrating, I really have a hard time finding a product that could really blend into my skin. Local BB Creams and face powders usually give me that "cakey" look as if it was "foundation day"! hahaha! That's why I never bother purchasing one. Contrary to my experience with other local brands, Nature Essentials Blemish Balm Cream totally blew me away! It glides and absorbs easily and gives me a very natural feel.The coverage is light yet it is able to conceal those imperfections that I have. It does not make my skin oily and feels very light on my skin.  I feel like wearing nothing on my face at all, as if it were my very own skin. Even if I had it on for hours, my face still appears to be very smooth with its coverage.

I am no professional photographer and I assure you that, the effects of the Serum and BB Cream look much better in person, where it appears to be flawless and radiant. 

All of the Nature Essentials products which I have on hand are nicely packaged, and what I like most about their packaging is that the ingredients and instructions for each product is printed on its boxes and labels. Most of all, a warning is written for the user to make a patch test before application. Not all products have that. Despite of their claim of having very safe and mild products, I admire them for putting the said statement on their boxes and labels, because even if ingredients are all natural, it still may cause allergies at times too. Kudos for thinking about your patrons welfare, Nature Essentials! I also like it that they use pumps as dispensers because I find it very convenient and not messy. It has a classy feel too.

I could say that my personal experience with Nature Essentials Face Perfect Serum and Blemish Balm Cream was very satisfactory. Not to mention that their Blemish Balm Cream is at par with a known Korean brand. I still have other Nature Essentials product experiences which I shall be sharing with all of you soon.
