The 15th of June 2014 was a very special day not only because it was Father's Day, but most especially because it was my Godchild's 7th birthday. Gabrielle Peralta Pua, also known as Gabby to her family and friends, celebrated her 7th birthday with luxury and style. The theme was the personal choice of our little princess, and her wish of having a Frozen party was indeed granted. It was an intimate event where only family and the closest of friends were invited. The party which was held at Garden Oases, was carefully planned and executed by Gabby's mom up to the tiniest detail.
As guests arrived at the venue, I was in charge of receiving them (I'd gladly do anything for my inaanak. ). I had the guests sign a greeting board and handed the kids their name tags and party hats. After registration and while waiting for the other guests to arrive, a photo booth was readily available for the guests to have their portraits captured. Ice cream and chocolate fondue was also served to keep the kids from getting bored. The main event started at exactly 5:00 PM and Gabby caught the crowd's attention as she entered the room dressed as Elsa, of the Disney movie Frozen. She really looked so stunning in her ice blue gown.
Gabby was not the only one dressed in blue, her equally beautiful mom and siblings were dressed with something blue too. Her dad who works abroad, was not able to come home and attend the special occasion. Instead, he gave his sweet message and words of wisdom via video feed. Her uncle who also works abroad gave his message as well.
There were lots of games not only for the kids to enjoy but for moms and dads too! A lot of prizes were given away, all of which were Frozen inspired. After the games, palatable food was served. A buffet table of sweets was also available to satisfy everyone's sweet tooth cravings. Edible art was beautifully crafted by a classmate of mine in high school, Maya Verga of Sweet Heaven. During the middle part of the ptogram, Gabby gave her very own rendition of the song "Let It Go", she looked really sweet and beautiful while on stage. Towards the the later part, everyone was entertained by acrobatic stunts as performed by a family of professional acrobats. Not to mention that they made the guests' hearts literally skip a beat. The youngest performer was a little girl aged three. Just before the party ended, Gabby handed out loot bags which were filled with goodies for her friends to enjoy. Souvenirs were also given away to make us remember this very birthday of hers.
Everyone who came to celebrate Gabby's 7th birthday, had so much fun on that very special night. We missed some friends who were not able to make it though. If this was one extravagant event, I look forward to Gabby's 16th and 18th Birthday then. Above all, I wish that Gabby grows up to be healthy, God fearing, and beautiful inside and out. I know she definitely will, having such great and loving family to guide her. To Gabby, live a happy life, dear little princess. Always remember that we love you so much!
