Summer is almost over but the fun goes on for kids at Greenwich Pizza Camp. Early this morning a bunch of kids gathered to join the Pizza Camp, hosted by Greenwich Pizza, NCCC Mall of Davao branch. The call time given was 8:30 AM for all preregistered participants, and children along with their parents came early, and were pretty excited to make their own pizza.
The workshop started with parlor games which served as an ice breaker for the kids. It made them more comfortable with the atmosphere too. After the first part, children were oriented and taught the right way of hand washing. Then came the kitchen tour where kids were able to see where the pizzas are being made and what utensils and appliances are needed to cook it. And the most awaited part, the making of their very own Hawaiian Pizza.
It was so nice to see the little one's serious faces while doing their pizza toppings. Making use of their creative side, while they were enjoying too. As they finished putting pizza sauce, ham, pineapple, and cheese on top of their pizza crust, it was time to bake. After a few minutes, voila! Their very own pizza made with patience and love.
As the pizza was served, it came with spaghetti, a piece of chicken, and a drink. The P220.00 registration fee was indeed worth it. To see the excitement in children's faces when they are able to complete a task is such a delight, and making their own pizza was a task filled with fun. To see my daughter Ysabella and her friends Cianthy and Nicole happy, PRICELESS!
