Trying On Lipcote and Loving It!

Oil of Argan, An Experience With Nature's Blessings

This past few months, I have been a fanatic of all natural products. I have been in search for products that may be used regularly and would not cause harm to the health of my family. Most of the products that I have tried contain Argan Oil as a base ingredient. Why? The reason is simple. Argan oil is the latest trend in the cosmetic industry due to the benefits that it is able to provide. Amazingly, Moroccan Argan oil may be used for the face, hair, and the body.

I was given the chance to try Oil of Argan, a brand which is distributed locally. Oil of Argan has a very classy packaging, you would not expect that it is a local brand. The black and brown packaging indeed gave me a good first impression of the product. It is boxed nicely and comes with a leaflet which tells about the product's uses and amusing benefits. The ingredients used in manufacturing were printed on its labels as well.

It was Facial soap and Argan Oil that I received by mail. The Facial Soap is 70 grams in weight and it's ingredients are organic, Virgin Coconut Oil, Argan Oil, Mineralized Lye Solution, Fragrance, Green Tea extract, and Lactic Acid. It has a very mild fragrance, a very nice lather, and does not leave the skin feeling dry and tight. Instead, it makes skin silky soft and smooth after bathing. My skin feels more elastic too.

Contained in the 30 ml bottle is 100% pure and fresh Argania Spinosa oil from Casablanca, Morocco. It is hypoallergenic, organic and non-greasy. As I put the product into my skin and rub it gently, it easily is absorbed and leaves it soft, supple, and moisturized, without that sticky and greasy after feel. Even if I washed my skin with ordinary soap after application ( I experimented ), moisture is still retained. From the scent itself, one would also know that  it is pure and has no additives, so you get the most out of the product.

With the 30 ml  Oil of Argan, what you get is an anti-wrinkle, moisturizer, skin revitalizer, facial oil regulator, anti-acne, anti-blemish, skin itch and irritation relief, stretch mark and scar minimizer. It also promotes hair growth, repairs damaged hair, reduces frizz, softens and makes hair shine and is an anti-dandruff with no side effects. It literally may be used from head to toe and what you would pay for would really be worth it, up to the last drop. That's health and beauty rolled into one, beauties.

It is really nice to know that products such as these are now available locally. Quality products that would deliver a very satisfactory experience. The Queen's Essentials Obagi Set, My Personal Experience

This post is long overdue and my excitement of sharing my experience with y'all has been prolonged!

I received a package from The Queen's Essentials and wondered if I would have the same experience with other bloggers who have tried the product. I have read of good feedback with this brand and was hoping I would be able to have at least the same experience with other people who have tried it.

You might have read the The Queen's Essentials post regarding their new waterproofed stickers, well it was I who brought such concern to their attention because the products spilled due to shipper's handling. As I received the package, the labels' prints weren't visible at all. It was not for me to criticize, but to help them out in bringing customer satisfaction. Though labels do not affect the potency of a product, still it helps create a lasting impression.

The product package is composed of a Kojic Acid Soap, Medicated Astringent, Clarifying Solution, Peeling Cream, Bleaching Cream, and Sunblock Foundation. When I opened it, I thought that it would be a challenge for me. Why? It's because I am not really into the ritual of putting a lot of stuff on my face. I don't have the patience to do so! Hahaha! 

I carefully followed the instructions of application.

Evening:

1. Cleanse the face and neck with Clarifying Solution using facial cotton.

2. Wash the face with Kojic Acid Soap.

3. Apply Medicated Astringent with upward strokes using facial cotton.

4. Put a generous amount of Peeling cream without rinsing.

5. After 5 minutes, put a substantial amount of Bleaching Cream all over the face and neck leaving it overnight.

Daytime:

1.Tub face with ice to close the pores, to lift dead skin, and to eliminate the bleaching cream.

2.Wash the face with Kojic Acid Soap.

3.Spread on face an ample amount of Sunblock Foundation to moisturize the skin and protect from harmful UV rays.

The Kojic Acid Soap had a mild fruity fragrance, the Medicated Astringent and Clarifying Solution was fragrance-free, the Peeling cream had a rich texture and was also unscented in nature. However, the bleaching cream had a floral fragrance which I really liked. Its creamy texture made application really easy too. The Sunblock foundation had a scent that makes me hungry, I'm not quite sure of the scent though but I really loved the finish that it gave to my face each time I put it on. It had a sheer coverage that I really like since I do not usually wear make up on a day to day basis.

During my first use up until the last day, no stinging sensation and no visible peeling was experienced. Each passing day my skin became smoother, fairer, and was acquiring a more radiating glow. Now, not only people who know me ask, even strangers appreciate my complexion. Not a single day would pass by without me getting a compliment. Isn't that flattering? The photos below are reason enough.

I guess I have to say nothing more because the pictures speak for itself! My product experience with the The Queen's Essentials Obagi Set is very satisfactory, not to mention that it has surpassed my expectations. Indeed the the Obagi Set delivers its promise of beautiful skin. Undergoing the ritual of The Queen's Essentials regimen is indeed worth it! At 38 I am so proud to have made my complexion even look better with the Queen's Obagi Set. My experience with the Obagi Set now makes me curious about their other products especially those that are used for the rest of the body. I think they would be equally efficient. Hmm.Who knows? I might give it a try soon to know how it would work wonders on me.

Nature Essentials Argan Oil (Skin, Hair, and Nail Serum), Nature Wonder Emu Soap, and Nature Glow Emu Soap

As promised, here is the second part of my Nature Essentials product review. This time I am going to give my personal experience feedback on their Argan Oil (Skin, Hair, and Nail Serum), Nature Wonder Emu Soap, and Nature Glow Emu Soap. 

Let me start off with the Argan oil which is known to be the" liquid gold". Argan oil is a plant oil produced from the kernels of the Argan tree (Argania spinosa L.) which can only be found in Morocco. Argan oil is gaining a reputation both as an ingredient in high-end, personal-care products and is most effective as a moisturizer, toner, and topical treatment for general hair, skin, and nail problems.

Nature Essentials Argan oil is made of 100% Argania Spinosa Kernel oil and is guaranteed to be 100% natural.  In lieu of body lotion, I used the Argan oil after bathing at night. It kept my skin supple, soft, and moisturized without that sticky feeling that lotions leave behind. The oil comes in a glass bottle with a glass dropper for easy application. Full size is 30 ml and just like other Nature Essentials products, a patch test instruction is printed on it's box and bottle label.

The Nature Glow Emu Soap, is aimed to whiten the skin with that youthful glow. It gently exfoliates and increases skin elasticity. It is made of EMU oil, Shea butter, Argan oil, Licorice, Bearberry, Mulberry, papaya, Aloe Vera, Vit.C, and Vit. B. The soap is Paraben free. For those who are not familiar with EMU oil, it is an oil derived from the Emu bird and is known for its wonderful skin care benefits such as Anti-aging,Treatment for scratches, scars, burns, Psoriasis, Eczema, and haircare. 

The Nature Glow Emu Soap smells really nice with a scent similar to that of Victoria's Secret's Love Spell. It is packed at 135 grams and is to be used for the face only for about 20-30 seconds, but may be left  for five minutes on the body. For hard to lighten areas, it is to be left for eight minutes before rinsing. The soap is non drying to the skin and leaves my body feeling soft, smooth, and fairer. I recommended this to a friend and she totally fell in love with the Nature Glow Emu Soap as well.

The Nature Wonder Emu Soap, is an 18 in1 beautifying bar for the face and body. It aims to lighten old scars, smoothen the wrinkles, and moisturize the skin. It also prevents and dries pimples. It's ingredients are similar to that of the Nature Glow Emu Soap but has the addition of Calendula, Neem oil, Plantain, Tea tree, Witch hazel, Raw organic, Honey, Tomato, Carrot extract, Evening Primrose, Rosehip oil, Malunggay, Kojic Acid, and Calamansi, all of which are beneficial for achieving a beautiful complexion.

Having antibacterial and whitening properties, the Nature Wonder Emu Soap remains to be non drying. Not only does it whiten and rid the skin of blemishes, it leaves skin supple and moisturized as well for that younger looking glow. It has a mild scent which makes bathing a more relaxing experience.

More people nowadays are resorting to all natural solutions to beautify the skin from inside and out, I am glad that Nature Essentials has formulated products which could address the needs of the Filipina skin. Not only is it affordable but 100% All Natural and Paraben fee as well. So far, I am satisfied with all the Nature Essentials products which I have personally tried. Evee Lumina White, A Seven Day Challenge

I have been bothered by allergies for a couple of weeks now. All the while I thought I have gotten rid of them already, but then they came back. What's very annoying is that they choose to appear on my face and are very stubborn. They are so itchy and appear to be pimple like.

I received a Lumina White package from Evee, and thought it might put and end to my worries. The set was composed of a cleansing bar, a face tonic, a day cream, and a night cream. All nicely packaged in small containers, tightly sealed to avoid spillage. As soon as I had it on hand, I immediately opened the package and used the products. That's how desperate I was! 

This happened to my skin two weeks ago.

To achieve that Lumina White complexion, I started my regimen by washing my face with the cleansing bar. It has a very nice lather and does not give my skin a stinging sensation each time I wash my face with it. The cleansing bar aims to tighten and whiten the skin for that youthful glow. After drying my face with a clean towel, I apply the day cream. It is white in color, with a light creamy texture. The purpose of the day cream is to protect the skin from the harmful rays of the sun. It also may be used as a make up base for that added protection beneath your make up..

During night time, in lieu of the day cream, the face tonic and the night cream are to be used after cleansing the face. The face tonic comes in a spray bottle for easier application. The toner gives me a very light stinging sensation. Well, it may be due to the allergy that I have where parts of my skin had existing breakouts prior to use. It is very tolerable though and it disappears in no time. The face tonic works to cleanse the skin of its impurities, to bring out naturally fine and glowing skin. The last thing that I apply after cleansing is the night cream, which has a very rich creamy texture, and a very light yellow tint to it. It is formulated to get rid of tired cells while whitening the skin as one sleeps. All of the products are unscented except for the cleansing bar, which has a mild scent that most Kojic acid soaps have.

Less allergies, lightened scars, glowing face!

After 2 days of use my skin allergies dried up and lessened. There may be new ones which appear from time to time, but I am glad that they are not as much as they were before I started using the Evee Lumina White kit. On my seventh day, my skin even felt smoother, firmer, and my pores appeared to be less visible too. My friends have noticed the changes in my skin. Above photo shows my bare skin with mascara, lip balm, and eyebrow made up. Nothing more than that. 

Most women would want to have flawless skin, but more than that, a youthful glow would make it even better. Indeed, Lumina White was able to ease my worries of having allergy breakouts and scars. I am definite that in time, I surely will reclaim the flawless skin that I once used to have. All it takes is patience in following a safe and reliable routine to achieve beautiful skin.
